Summer Intern 2017: Emily Kercheville

Toolbox was happy to have Emily Kercheville join the team for a summer internship.  Emily worked with us this summer and really enjoyed getting to see what a marketing firm does on a day to day basis.  She says it was interesting to see what real marketing looks like outside of a college textbook.  Emily worked closely with the team and learned about the industry hands on.  She worked with social media, SEO, website builds, as well as sitting in on client strategy meetings.

Sadly, fall approaches and Emily will return to Texas A&M at College Station where she will continue her double major in management and consulting.  Emily hopes to develop skills in negotiation, organizational design, human resources and law.  She is proud to be a part of Pi Beta Phi Sorority at A&M where she assumes the role as New Member Educator—a job which allows her to guide the incoming freshmen.  A&M also offers a Peer Leading program in which Emily works with freshmen to help guide them through the trials of a university.  As a sophomore, Emily taught a class to freshmen to help get them in the right track for business school, as well as serving as a coordinator for the program where she oversaw the selection and teaching of new sophomore teachers.   She also studied abroad to study at the University of Strasbourg and continued her studies in business.  Emily says she enjoyed immersing herself in new cultures.

The Toolbox team enjoyed working with Emily this summer and wish her the best in both school and her future career.
